PROFIT - We are not a shipping company, so we are not out
to make a profit on the shipping costs associated with getting
your order to you. We add shipping charges based on what
we have to pay to get your order shipped. We don't inflate
product prices to offer free shipping. |

DAY AIR - We can use next day air on most items. Next day
air orders need to be received by 1PM Eastern Time, because
our UPS picks up here around 3PM ET. |
| RATE
BASIS - Shipping rates are based on the weight of your equipment,
the dimensions of the packaging, the type of equipment,
the zipcode where the order will be shipped to and the delivery
type. All shipments are FOB origin. |
| DELIVERY
TYPES - Commercial delivery types are always less than residential
shipping types. Freight terminal pickup is the lowest delivery
cost. |
| SMALL
ITEMS - Small items like thermostats are shipped UPS, or
USPS and average about $6.00-$10.00 for single pieces, $8.00-$11.00
for 2 pieces, $9.00-$13.00 for 3 pieces. If you need 2nd
day air, or overnight delivery, shipping charges will be
higher. We can give you the exact costs for different delivery
speeds if desired, so you have an exact total price. Just
ask us. |
| LARGE
ITEMS - Larger items are shipped FOB origin via Common Carrier(freight
truck) because for large items this method costs less than
UPS, or it is the only available method of delivery for
the size of the order. Freight company carries insurance
on your equipment, in case of damage during transit. |
| ESTIMATES
- We will attempt to get an accurate shipping estimate on
your order if you desire. But, we will usually estimate
the shipping charges high, so that after the order is packed
and weighed before pickup the shipping charges will not
be higher than originally estimated and most of the time
the actual charges are lower than our first estimate. |
| EXTRA
COSTS - There are optional extra costs associated with shipping
some orders. For example, the request of a lift gate freight
truck to help with residential unloading is usually around
[$50.00] in addition to the regular shipping charge. Also,
some items that are not stocked and are special ordered
direct from the manufacturer will involve 2-way freight(from
them to us and then from us to you). We will let you know
if your equipment is in this category. Also, freight forwarding
and customs duties are your responsibility if we are shipping
out of the USA. |
| FREE
SHIPPING - Some orders are entitled to free shipping. For
example, orders of 24 or more PTACs delivered to the same
address at one time will receive free shipping. Select portable
air conditioners receive free shipping. Most very large
equipment orders are also eligible. We will inform you if
your order qualifies for free shipping. If we pay no shipping,
then you pay no shipping. |
| TIME
TO SHIP(lead time) - We aim to keep sufficient quantities
in stock and if we happen to be out of anything you need,
it is most likely on it's way in to us, or in some cases,
we can have the factory ship direct to you. Lead time on
large orders varies, so please ask us if this is a concern
of yours. Our warehouse runs on an average 1-4 day turn
around time to get orders packed and ready to ship, depending
on how many other orders are ahead of yours. |
